Irby Village Clean-Up
22nd October 2023

Well Done, To All who gave their time,

It was with great trepidation that Sunday 22nd October was approached. The horrendous weather didn’t bode well for the event.

However, we need not have worried. The Sun shone and the Village received another spruce up ready for the winter.

I must mention a very special young lady who took her mum along to help.

Mum wasn’t expecting to be there on the day, but her daughter insisted.

This gives us confidence that the next generation want our beautiful village and areas to remain clean and tidy.

Apologies, I forgot mum and daughters name but well done to them.

The next time you visit the village please take time to look at the tremendous job the volunteers did.

This is all thanks to the following people who volunteered:

Alison Fisher, Christine Ainslie, Rhona Madden, Steve Roberts, David Bromwell, Dilys Jeffrey,

Steve Jeffrey,  Jill Murray,  John Heath, Jean Heath,  Sue Lang.

Special thanks again to Vikki from Aroma Coffee shop for providing sustenance during the day.
